Sorry fellas but just had the worst haircut ever.
Setting and ambience of the shop is OK but when I tried to explain that I only wanted a traditional haircut I finished up with a ridiculous uneven short back and sides with a couple of holes. The barber had no idea what I was saying or asking for and I was charged just over double what I normally pay elsewhere in Perth.
Every barber at UMA is excellent, professional, skilled, and friendly. Logan is my go to but even when he is booked up I always know I'm going to get a great cut from one of the others. Phoenix provides great service and the full package deal with the shave and facial is honestly so good. Love enjoying a cheeky cocktail as well as I'm getting a trim.
The best barber in Perth ! The place is clean and well decorated. Barbers are doing a nice job in a very good atmosphere. I strongly recommend them. A special thanks to the team for the great welcome and for their kindness. Do not forget to take an appointment!
Fade went so high and shaved off all my bulk on the sides even though we said it would be a super low taper because i wanted to grow the bulk out a bit :/ fades also higher on one side than the other, seriously just dont get why every barber wants to fade so high and not just listen to their client who always know better as to what suits them. Since when was a “low taper” meant to reach all the way up to the top of the forehead.
Took the time to show videos and pictures to the guy that did my hair, I don’t know if he didn’t understand me (needed to repeat several times what I wanted) or what but he did whatever he understood. Shaved all my sides when I asked him specifically not to do it. Cut however he wanted from the top once again, nobody ask him to do it. Really really disappointed not coming back ever.
Awesome service, especially from Tyla, as she listens and provides great style advice. Tyla is so good that I waited months to cut my hair until she was available
Excellent service from the moment I walked in the door! Staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and will cater to your every hairdressing need. Its tucked-away location and warm, familiar ambience make it a must-visit barbershop.
Absolutely loves this barber shop. Such a nice aesthetic and Lucas was such a lad. I’ll definitely be coming back.
